Static sites, real speed: why we build the way we do

Versión original en inglés — puedes usar el traductor de tu navegador para leerla.

A surprising number of small-business websites are built on heavy platforms that load a small mountain of code before a visitor sees anything. On a fast connection you might not notice. On a phone with patchy signal — which is how a lot of your customers arrive — it's the difference between a sale and a bounce.

We build sites as static pages served from a global network. There's no bulky server doing work on every request, so pages arrive almost instantly. Images are optimised and sized for the device asking for them, and only the code a page actually needs is sent.

Speed isn't just a nicety. Search engines factor it into rankings, and visitors quietly reward it by staying longer and converting more. It's one of those details that never shouts, but always pays off.
